Confidence first
Early progress starts with feeling secure enough to try, wobble, reset and try again.
GALLEONICE DANCE & FIGURE SKATINGJOIN GFSK Small skaters. Big starts. Polar Bears is GFSK’s young-learner entry point — helping children build confidence, comfort and a love of being on the ice.
For a young learner, the first few sessions matter. Polar Bears gives younger skaters a clear place to begin inside GFSK, without expecting them to arrive already knowing how to skate.
The emphasis is simple: get comfortable, build confidence, learn the foundations and discover that the rink can be somewhere they want to come back to.

The strongest pathway starts when a young skater associates the ice with progress, encouragement and belonging.
